Cancellation: Reopening of the RIVERPORT Off-Dock Container Terminal

Richmond, B.C. Canada

In February we announced our plan to reopen the RIVERPORT Off-Dock Container Depot located on a 9 acre parcel of the Fraser Wharves Auto Terminal Complex, subject to the successful completion of a permitting process required by PMV and the City of Richmond.

Regrettably, after engaging consultants and commencing the permitting process, we were unable to finalize a commercially workable agreement with PMV for the project and, as a consequence, the Company has officially withdrawn its application to lease the site and has made the decision not to proceed further with this project.

Harbour Link is presently evaluating alternate site options to expand its off-dock capabilities for the storage and handling of laden and empty containers for customers, inclusive of performing trans-loading services for importers and exporters in a manner that will enable the termination/availability to empty containers by customers for shipping lines that have appointed Harbour Link to be their off dock empty container storage depot operator at the Vancouver Gateway.

Our continued objective is to provide drayage and container handling solutions that achieve a fluid supply chain for the seamless flow of containers through the Port of Vancouver Gateway and that harmonize customer supply chain requirements with the port interface.
