Harbour Link / Tidewater Container Services is Selected by VFPA to be the Operator of the Tsawwassen Container Examination Facility (TCEF)

We are pleased to announce the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority (VFPA) has selected Tidewater Container Services through Harbour Link to be the operator and drayage provider for the newly built container examination facility located on Tsawwassen First Nation industrial lands.
Tidewater Container Services Inc. (Tidewater), is a wholly owned subsidiary of Harbour Link Container Services Inc. and will focus its activities performing comprehensive container and cargo handling services for VFPA related to the examination of containerized cargo by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA). The Tsawwassen Container Examination Facility (TCEF) was built to enable CBSA to fulfill their national security obligations.
Tidewater will also broaden Harbour Link’s capabilities to include integrated cargo transloading solutions as an important element of its scope of services by utilizing approx. 50,000 sq’ of the TCEF structure to provide commercial warehousing and transloading services.
Harbour Link is a BC based, privately owned, Canadian enterprise with an operating history spanning more than 25 years. It operates under the long standing management and leadership of David Payne and his skilled staff, known for their strong customer service approach that has enabled Harbour Link to achieve an excellent reputation for being “Strong on Service, Reliability and People”.
David will be directly responsible for Tidewater and his expanded team of professionals (under the leadership of Brian Lee as Manager of Tidewater) will be responsible for daily operations.
The TCEF is presently in the final phase of completion and is expected to be fully operational before the close of 2018.
