We are a looking to fill a permanent full time position for a Transportation Coordinator.

The successful candidate must be a highly motivated and an enthusiastic self-starter able to function in a fast-paced environment with a keen eye on detail. The candidate must have a positive attitude, be able to communicate in a professional and pleasant manner in both written and spoken English and have solid computer skills.

The candidate must work well within the operations team but also be able to prioritize and schedule your own daily work load. You will have a problem solving mindset, required to meet or exceed our customers’ expectations.

Your primary responsibilities will be to arrange transportation services with customers, terminal operators, brokers, drivers and others in the shipment chain to enable the company to achieve the seamless flow of equipment. You will be responsible for accurate data entry into our customer service/dispatch software, billing and facilitating cross-border shipments into the US. You will work with customers in providing documentation they require. You will assist the dispatchers as required, as well as any other tasks assigned by management.

Preference will be given to applicants that have some prior work experience in transportation/logistics, freight forwarding and/or exposure to US and Canadian border documentation (ACE, CFIA, A8A, and import bonds).

You will be paid a guaranteed monthly salary commensurate with experience and skills, plus a comprehensive benefits package following successfully completing a 3 probationary period.
